Procurement Officer

Cablenet is seeking to hire a Procurement Officer based in Nicosia. The ideal candidate will be responsible of the purchasing transactions for the organisation’s equipment, supplies, services, etc. and will report to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support operational requirements by procuring equipment and services as necessary
• Evaluate suppliers in terms of quality, price, delivery and payment terms
• Negotiate to secure the most advantageous terms
• Evaluate existing contracts and if necessary take actions to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure clarity of specifications and stock levels
• Prepare reports and maintain records
• Ensure accurate delivery of orders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other relevant degree
• 1 years of working experience in a similar position is a must
• Experience in the telecommunication industry will be considered as an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP ERP (Purchase Order Module) will be considered as an advantage
• Fluent in Greek and English
• Computer literate
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
