We are seeking to hire a Risk Management officer for our Limassol office. The successful candidate will be monitoring, designing and implementing internal Risk Management policies, while ensuring that the firm’s staff is well informed and trained on related legislation.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Head the Risk Management Committee
  • Complying and implementing the relevant provisions of the Law, relating to risk management issues
  • Conducting risk assessment, by identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the organization;
  • Monitoring the firms internal Risk Management policies
  • Designing and implementing an overall risk management process based on the firm’s existing policies
  • Requiring sufficient information from all the relevant departments of the Company, as applicable
  • Educating and training the personnel of the Company on risk-related issues
  • Drafting written reports to the Management Body including recommendations as well as indicating in particular whether the appropriate remedial measures have been undertaken in the event of any deficiencies, at least annually.
  • Managing the overall risks faced by the Company, with a particular focus on the Client side risks where fraud, dispute, Client identification and due diligence and funding/deposit risks are handled and monitored accordingly in coordination with the MLCO and the Administration/Back Office Department, as applicable
  • Engaging into and fulfil his/her ICAAP related duties and responsibilities as these shall be detailed in the ICAAP Report of the Company.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • University or postgraduate degree or other equivalent qualification in a field related to Risk Management, Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration
  • Any Risk Management Certification will be considered as advantage
  • CySEC Advanced Certificate
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a comparable role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Language
  • Ability to multitask and complete assignment within time constraints and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high attention to detail
  • Very good administration and organizational skills
  • Integrity and professional ethics.
