On behalf of our client, a new fast-growing developer and publisher of worldwide recognized games and mobile game applications with international presence, we seek to recruit a dynamic and high caliber professional for the position of Senior Chief Accountant (Russian Speaker), to be based in Limassol.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will oversee the accounting function of the business, working closely with the Head Offices and external advisors. The person to be appointed will have the overall responsibility for analysing financial information, producing budgets and forecasts, preparing the necessary financial reports and he/she will actively participate in the development and implementation of the Company’s strategic financial objectives. More specifically, key responsibilities of the person to be appointed include, amongst other:

• Review and analyse the monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc financial reports such as management accounts, financial statements and budgets
• Develop and implement policies and strategies in relation to financial management issues, budget issues and accounting issues
• Oversee and coordinate disbursement of monthly payroll
• Oversee the preparation of VAT reports
• Liaise with any external service providers such as external auditors and tax advisers, as well as with banks and the key stakeholders
• Review all financial transactions to ensure that are accurate and up to date
• Supervise the day to day operations of the Accounting Department in order to ensure compliance with the relevant accounting principles 

REQUIREMENTS

• Professional qualification ACA / ACCA / CPA
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or in a related field
• At least 7 (seven) years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Ability to provide direction and manage effectively the Accounting Department
• Attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills
• Highly effective communication skills 
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent computer literacy
• Excellent command of the Russian and English or Greek languages, both verbal and written
