Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing high-level support and rapid resolution to network/system/security problems
• Installing, maintaining networking infrastructure on ships.
• Identifying, resolving and escalating urgent issues
• Analyze diagnostic tools and monitoring software to proactively interpret problems or symptoms

Qualifications:

• University degree in computer science / networks
• 2 years relevant experience
• Good knowledge of understanding routing and switching
• Willing to travel abroad frequently
• Excellent command in English language
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, SIP, Wireless
• Experience with Cisco technologies’ and Mikrotik will be consider as an advantage
• Any certifications in networking technologies will be consider as an advantage
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure efficiently
• Able to use own initiative, prioritize and work independently
• Ability to master new technology quickly and to work in a constantly changing environment
• Willing to travel abroad frequently on short notice
