The Role:

We are currently looking for an IT Audit Consultant to join our Information Risk Management in External Audit team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will participate in challenging and demanding IT audit engagements. More specifically, he/she will perform IT audits as part of internal and external audits, for companies operating in a variety of industries with emphasis however on Cyprus Investment Firms. Our Information Risk Management in External Audit department focuses on delivering business benefits from a range of technologies, helping clients develop high performing IT functions and leverage investments in current systems to deliver significant business value.  

The Responsibilities:

• Perform IT Audits, including review of IT controls and procedures at clients’ premises.
• Act as the liaison with External Audit teams for the utilization of IT specialists during the execution of financial audits.
• Perform data analyses with the use of automated tools.
• Provide advisory services for the design, selection and deployment of IT systems.
• Provide advisory services for the analysis, design and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
• Prepare related deliverables for the above services.

The individual:

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS  or a related field with overall grade of 7,5 for Cyprus Universities, 2:1 for British Universities.
• Related work experience (in performing IT Audits) will be considered as an advantage.
• Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas will be considered as an advantage: Financial Services Industry, IT Audit, Internal Audit, External Audit and Accounting.
• Knowledge of Information Security concepts and related control frameworks (e.g. COBIT) will be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language.
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, professional discipline, accuracy, reliability and excellent analytical skills.
• Certifications such as CISA will be considered an asset.
