On behalf of our Client, a Ship management company, we are looking for a Marine Superintendent/ Ship Manager to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Constitutes the main liaison between the concerning Masters and the Ship Operations department
• Ensures that all applicable HSEQ regulations are met
• Monitors that all operations are performed within the framed budget
• Conducts annual vessel inspections and follow up
• Key presence at Dry Dockings and layup repairs
• Monitors purchasing and logistics of the stores and spares 

Job Requirements

• Chief Engineer Unlimited (or higher) in combination with seagoing experience
• Experience in expedition cruise industry is required
• Excellent knowledge and experience in budgeting, forecasting and purchasing
• Up to date knowledge of maritime legislation and classification society requirements
• Excellent command of English language, in both verbal and written forms
• Additional language skills are considered an advantage
• Fulltime availability
• Excellent communication skills and ability to delegate tasks
• Ability to be flexible, accurate and highly organized
• Shore-based experience is considered an advantage
• Willingness to travel on short notice
• Guide master on vessels’ certificate related matters
• Very good knowledge on Microsoft office
