Responsible for design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software systems.
Responsible for one or more specific modules within a large software system scope
What will your job look like?
- You will provide technical solution for data warehousing and/or BI and similar systems
- You will effectively handle multiple work assignments, while consistently deliver high quality work
- You will write Teradata bteq scripts to process data
- You will perform bulk data loads from flat files to Teradata/Vertica
- You will develop Informatica mappings/Workflows to implement the business rules as per specification document
- You will tune performance of Informatica sessions, identify and resolve performance bottleneck issues in source/target Informatica mappings
- You will prepare project documentation with all the code that has to be migrated to QA/Production environment
- You will coordinate with System Testing team to migrate the code to QA System Testing
- You will work with System Testing and UAT teams to analyze and resolve opened defects
- You will provide support during the warranty period to projects after deployment to Production
- Knowledge of Informatica, Teradata/Vertica will be considered as an advantage
All you need is...
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Up to 4 years of experience (more junior profiles will also be considered)
- Expert in using SQL
- Good understanding of Performance Tuning
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux Server platform, Perl Scripting
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, ETL and data modelling
- Desire to learn and adapt fast to a dynamic environment
