The Role:

As a Regulatory Officer, you will lead the preparation and submission of licensing applications across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations. You will act as a key liaison between the company, regulatory authorities, and external legal partners, handling all licensing-related correspondence and documentation. Your role involves closely monitoring global regulatory developments and advising internal teams on necessary compliance actions. You will also support and maintain regulatory alignment across the Group’s operations.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Prepare and submit licensing applications to regulatory authorities for new or expanded operations in collaboration with the Compliance department

  • Coordinate the preparation of license applications across various jurisdictions, including drafting and reviewing required manuals, policies, and procedures to meet local and international financial services regulations.

  • Analyze regulatory and licensing requirements in targeted jurisdictions to support business objectives.

  • Communicate and liaise regularly with regulatory authorities, legal advisors, and external partners to ensure timely follow-ups and submissions.

  • Ensure that regulatory policies and procedures are consistently implemented, maintained, and monitored across the Group.

  • Conduct regulatory research and SWOT analyses to evaluate licensing opportunities and present recommendations to senior management.

  • Monitor and assess global regulatory developments, advising on implications and required compliance actions.

  • Prepare and deliver periodic compliance and licensing reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Perform internal reviews and audits of business functions and processes to verify compliance and effectiveness.

  • Review and assess internal and external agreements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Engage with relevant internal departments to secure timely feedback, approvals, and the completion of all licensing-related documentation.

  • Stay informed of relevant regulatory frameworks and provide day-to-day guidance to teams across the business.

Main requirements:

  • University Degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position .

  • CySEC Advanced certification will be considered an advantage.

  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles.

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.

  • Ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Integrity of character and high levels of confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
