Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the operation of wholesale and retail electricity markets.
• Perform data analysis related to energy consumption, production, and market trends.
• Develop forecasts for electricity load and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with national and EU energy market regulations.
• Utilize software tools for system monitoring and data management.
• Liaise with customers, producers, and other market participants.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy systems, Mathematics, Physics or any other analytical or technical related field.
• Solid understanding of power systems and renewable energy technologies.
• Knowledge of wholesale and retail electricity market operations.
• Proficiency in Excel Tool and experience in data analysis tools (e.g. Python, MATLAB).
• Experience with SCADA systems and energy management software (e.g., EMS).
• Familiarity with Cyprus and EU energy regulations and market frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken).
