Job Description:
Our Project Management Team is growing, and we are seeking to recruit a Payments Integration Specialist to join our team. As a Payment Integration Specialist you will be responsible for day-to-day management of payment integration projects, liaising between cross-functional teams such as product team, developers, and operations, ensuring project goals are met.
Responsibilities include:
- Thoroughly review the documentation provided by the payment service provider for the new method. Understand the endpoints, request/response formats, authentication mechanisms, and any specific requirements.
- Organize meetings or training sessions with developers to walk through the API documentation and explain key concepts, such as authentication, endpoints, payload structures, and error handling.
- Provide developers with access to sandbox or testing environments where they can experiment with the API and familiarize themselves with its functionality.
- Highlight any potential pitfalls, security considerations, or compliance requirements that developers need to be aware of during the integration process.
- Provide developers with sample code snippets, tutorials, or reference implementations that demonstrate how to interact with the API and perform common tasks, such as initiating transactions, handling callbacks, and managing payment flows.
- Offer ongoing support and assistance to developers as they work on integrating the new payment method. Address any questions, challenges, or technical issues they encounter promptly.
- Test and troubleshoot integrations to ensure their proper functioning. Work with internal teams and external partners to address and mitigate any issues promptly.
- Monitor payment metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Work closely with the platforms as a PSP Product stakeholder and suggest platform/Gateway improvements for a better performance and customer experience.
- Keep the internal documentation repository up-to-date with relevant information about the new payment method, including integration guidelines, troubleshooting tips, and
- configuration details.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software integration.
- Be available and conduct online and in person meetings with PSPs.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Possess a deep understanding of payment technologies, including but not limited to credit card processing, digital wallets, ACH transfers, and cryptocurrency payments.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions
- Program Management: Experience with managing large programs and multiple projects
- Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers
- Integration: Ability to integrate different development environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
