Yumbles.com is looking for a talented customer service professional to join our small team and manage and continuously improve the customer service aspects of our marketplace.
About us 💻🍰
We’re a curated online marketplace for over 600 British artisan food and drink producers selling their produce directly to UK consumers. We are a small but passionate and ambitious team looking to continue to grow Yumbles strongly.
Our passion is small batch produced food & drink and championing the incredible small producers who make and sell it on our marketplace.
Although a UK focused business, we have an office in Nicosia, Cyprus where this role is based.
About the role 🌟
This pivotal role is the person on our team responsible for the front line and making sure our customers have an incredible experience. In this role you will be helping both the sellers and the buyers on our markeplace with anything they need, plus proactively monitoring that the sellers are adhering to policy not least fulfilling orders correctly and on time.
Key responsibilities 📢
- Handling inbound tickets, phone calls and social media messages.
- Monitoring order fulfillment.
- Payment checks.
- Listings moderation (making sure that new and edited product listings are compliant with our listing policies).
- Improving and defining customer service processes and policies.
- Reporting on customer service metrics, and sharing key customer insights.
What we’re looking for 👓
- You excel naturally at customer service. You love to help, you are patient and you are a strong and confident communicator.
- Excellent written and verbal English. The role is for helping UK customers.
- Highly organised, structured and efficient.
- Technically very competent. Able to learn new systems quickly. Able to problem solve common, basic IT issues confidently.
- A can-do attitude, willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done. Proactive.
- Great attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in a similar customer service role (online/ office based, not retail) will be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
