CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a highly prestigious, International Investment Bank with regional offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a bright, ambitious and hardworking Junior Risk & Compliance Officer to join their expanding team of professionals based in Nicosia. Full training will be provided for this position.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist the Risk and Compliance Department in implementing the policies and procedures of the Company.
  • Perform daily and monthly internal reporting obligations.
  • Updating of policies and procedures in accordance with the Company’s requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects relating to Compliance and/or Risk Management. 
 
Key Skills/Experience:
 
  • University degree in a field related to economics, finance, banking, business, accounting, law or risk management;
  • English language - advanced.
  • Computer skills: MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Work experience in Compliance or Risk Management will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of MiFID will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of financial markets will be considered a plus.
