The Position:
Head of Information Security: The Head of Information Security is responsible for the development, implementation and effective operation of an information security framework within doValue Cyprus. The Head of Information Security reports to the Board of Directors.
Please note, that doValue Cyprus is regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus. As a result, the Head of Information Security appointment shall be subject to satisfactory completion of the Central Bank’s evaluation and approval processes for the candidate which shall be selected
Responsibilities:

Contribute to the Company's efforts to communicate and implement the Information Security Framework acrossbusiness processes, applications and infrastructure technologies

Provide advice and recommendations to the Board on the development of a comprehensive information securitypolicy that takes into account the size and complexity of the activities of the Company

Provide advice and recommendations to the Board on the development and information security program implementation, in the form of policies, standards, guidelines, procedures and processes

Ensure the development, recording and implementation of the relevant policies and procedures

Ensure that the information security framework is communicated to staff and oversee its correct implementation
-
Cooperate with the operational support units of the supervised entity as well as with the other internal control functions for effective application of security principles in the development of their policies and procedures

Develop and implement, in collaboration with the risk management function, an information security risk assessment and management program
-
Participate in the required activities for effective implementation safeguards in the IT infrastructure and provide guidelines to the relevant unit which is responsible for the operation of IT systems and networks

Monitor staff compliance with security policies information, standards, guidelines, processes and procedures

Work effectively with business application and data owners, collaborate effectively with the Heads of IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk and DPO

Lead the effort to evaluate information and cyber security related Technical & Organisational Measures that may have an impact on privacy and personal data protection

Lead the efforts to implement and operate an effective Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Framework and capability

Other related tasks that may arise
Requirements:
-
BSc in any business-related subject, including Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management or relevant field

MSc in Cyber Security, Information Security and / or Information System Management
-
Practical experience in report drafting for internal and external stakeholders, including the Regulator, doValue Customers, doValue Group entities and others
-
Knowledge of IT processes and controls and strong understanding of risk and control frameworks such as (CoBIT, ISO27001, ISO22301, NIST, ITIL, PCI).

Possess Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other information systems security certifications
-
Information Security and Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery technical depth

Experience in risk, compliance and information security policy development and implementation

Experience with development of educational programs in the area of security awareness.
