Position Summary:

As a Hotel Telephone Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our guests over the phone. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will ensure that all calls are handled efficiently and courteously. You will direct calls, take messages, and provide vital information about our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Place outgoing calls as requested by guests.
  • Receive and deliver messages for guests and staff.
  • Log and execute wake-up call requests.
  • Provide information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Handle emergency calls and follow safety protocols.
  • Assist in training new telephone operators.
  • Maintain polite and courteous communication at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of telephone systems and computer skills.
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
