The Role:

We are currently looking to recruit a Russian speaking Auditor for a junior unexperienced auditor position. The successful candidate will participate in audit engagements of international clients. Moreover, the successful candidate will receive high quality technical training and will have the opportunity to develop his/her professional skills whilst working on a diverse portfolio of clients. In addition, the successful candidate will be working with highly experienced and qualified professionals with a focus on the audits of Russian interest groups.

The Responsibilities:

• Working within a team for a portfolio of Russian speaking clients responsible for conducting audit activities and coordinating the implementation of audit procedures
• Assisting in the preparation of tax computations and tax returns
• Auditing financial statements based on IFRS
• Translating financial statements from English to Russian and vice versa
• Converting from Russian Accounting Principles (RAP) to IFRS
• Keeping line managers up to date with progress throughout the course of the assignment

The Individual:

• University degree in any discipline with a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent
• Intention to proceed with a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA) or in the process of pursuing any of them
• Excellent knowledge of the Russian and English languages (written and spoken)
• Good up to date working knowledge of IFRS and ISA
• Good knowledge of Russian Accounting Principles (RAP) will be considered as an advantage
• IT literacy and in particular proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to take initiatives
• Ability to work both independently as well as within a team
• Willingness to travel within Cyprus and abroad
