Your Responsibilities

  • Design build and deploy scalable and efficient BI infrastructure and architecture.

  • Maintain, administer and support our BI and data analytics platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand platform requirements and business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Lead the implementation and integration of BI tools across the organization.

  • Proactively monitor, evaluate and optimize the performance of the existing BI platform/systems.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on BI platform-related projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of the BI platform/systems as well as consistent and efficient delivery of BI platform services.

  • Stay up to date with new data technologies, methodologies, programming models, latest trends, developments and industry best practices to ensure/leveraging CI/CD continuous improvement of the data platform.

  • Develop and update technical documentation to ensure our products are easy to use and maintain

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience (4-5 years) as a BI Developer/Data Engineer

  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining

  • In-depth understanding of SQL and NoSQL database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework

  • Knowledge of Oracle RDBMs, Elasticsearch DB, SQL queries, MSQL Server, Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), MS Azure

  • Familiarity with BI and Analytics data visualisation software (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)

  • Be self-motivated and creative. Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

  • Industry experience is preferred

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
