CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly regarded Group of Companies operating in Shipping & Forwarding, we are seeking to recruit an HR Operations Executive to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will drive the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives aligned with the organization's business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring compliance with labour laws, fostering a positive workplace culture, and enhancing employee engagement and performance. An academic background relating to Human Resources, Business Administration or another related field is desirable and approximately 3+ years of previous experience in an HR leadership or managerial role is ideal. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English are essential.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Senior Management to develop and execute HR strategies that support the overall business strategy and contribute to the company's success.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and laws in all aspects of human resource management, keeping our practices up-to-date and in adherence with legal requirements.
  • Lead the consistent application of company HR policies to maintain fairness, equality, and a positive work environment for all employees.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring the acquisition of top-tier talent that aligns with company values and goals.
  • Evaluate training needs across different employee levels and design, implement, and monitor training programs that enhance skill development and overall performance.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive performance appraisal system that empowers employees, supports professional growth, and drives a culture of high performance.
  • Formulate and execute employee retention strategies, utilizing engagement initiatives and career development programs to reduce turnover and retain key talent.
  • Coordinate and manage employee corporate events and parties, fostering team spirit, camaraderie, and a positive workplace atmosphere.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Human Resource Operations, ideally in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labour laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and developing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building strong relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Prior experience in recruitment, training, performance management, and employee retention strategies.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools for managing HR processes effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in complex HR situations.
