CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies with significant operations in the Affiliate Marketing sector, we are seeking to recruit an Accounting & Payment Specialist to join their newly established operations here in Cyprus. As an Accounting & Payment Specialist, you will primarily be responsible for handling a variety of critical accounting and payment related tasks, including managing payments, coordinating local tax compliance, assisting with the management of audit files, and communicating regularly with the Hong Kong operations of our client. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field, and holders of any relevant accounting qualification/certification are encouraged to apply. Our client is seeking applicants who possess proven experience in a relevant accounting and finance role, who possess outstanding organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well as part of a globally distributed team. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage payment proof requests.
- Request payment proofs of banks.
- Share and communicate POPs between partners and banks/EMI's
- Share and communicate POPs between operators and banks/EMI's
- Manage accept/deny/request adjustment costs applications.
- Collect/Request invoices from cost applications.
- Prepare cost applications for payments.
- Manage HK audit files in order to properly deliver all files on moment of reporting.
- Communication with HK accounting office to manage orderly applications.
- Coordinate local tax planning and compliance, including preparation of documents and tax return materials.
- Coordinate local tax planning with third party Accounting office.
- Coordinate local applications of employment documentations, materials and tax payments.
- Coordinate financial audits locally.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another related field.
- Holders of any relevant accounting qualifications/certifications are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience in a relevant role with specific experience of managing payments and costs.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
