Risk and Quality Team

The firm’s Risk & Quality team is responsible for developing risk management and independence policies and procedures and providing relevant advice, guidance and support. Furthermore, it monitors compliance with these policies, through the establishment of internal control systems, in accordance with our organisation’s global risk management and independence standards and policies.

The position

The responsibilities of this position are the following:

• Assist in implementing the global and local risk management and independence compliance programmes of PwC Cyprus with regard to policies, systems of internal controls, monitoring, testing and documenting compliance
• Prepare and deliver relevant training
• Assist in promoting awareness of global and local risk management and independence policies and standards
• Advise Partners, Directors and members of the staff, in all lines of service, on a daily basis, on how to deal with risk management and independence related matters

The requirements

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

• A university degree holder
• Any relevant academic qualification in risk management will be considered an advantage
• No previous work experience is essential
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
• Innovation and persistency
• Eagerness for continuous learning
• Team spirit
• IT or technology related skills will be considered an advantage
