CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established and respected Law Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Head of Litigation to join their team of professionals. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the Litigation Department of the firm and will be responsible for all litigation-related client requests across Cyprus.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 
  • Be responsible from beginning to end of litigation / arbitration cases, including consultation, strategy, execution, hearing and/or settlements
  • Drafting briefs and other legal documents
  • Gathering evidence to be used in trials and attending court hearings
  • Meeting with new clients and interviewing key witnesses
  • Conducting depositions and researching and advising on complex legal matters
 
Key Skills/Experience:
 
  • Holder of an LLB and/or LLM degree
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • Extensive and demonstrable previous experience working in Litigation is essential
  • Highly organised with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional attitude with a strong sense of discretion
  • Fluency in Greek & English (Written & Spoken) is a must
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent client service skills
