Advance Career, on behalf of our client, a Software Solutions organization, is looking to recruit a CTO / Senior Solution Architect;

Responsibilities:

• Collaboratively initially design new products together with the product management and multiple cross-functional teams of engineers.
• Develop and maintain a technological vision that is aligned with strategic business goals and ensures innovation and efficient development and operations.
• Communicate the technological vision both to stakeholders and engineering teams to keep everybody aligned towards common goals.
• Develop strong and autonomous teams and lead developers that can take care of entire systems and subsystems in our portfolio in order to achieve fast decision making and progress.
• In case of conflict, moderate lead developers and guide the teams to good and viable decisions as well as fruitful collaboration.
• Keep an overview of the technology market, upcoming tools and trends and set a direction for the overall technical development of the entire team and individual engineers.
• Invest in the technical quality of the existing product portfolio by managing technical debt and driving innovating initiatives in alignment with product goals.
• Bring in excellent understanding of all aspects of software engineering, including coding, architecture, operations, testing and the relevant trade-offs.
• Lead by example and attitude; show initiative and dependability when it matters most.
• Support the hiring and interviewing process and help building the best Cypriot development company to work in.

Qualifications:

• BSc / MSc in Computer Science or any other relevant field.
• 8-10 years of experience in software development in multiple programming environments and languages, software design and architecture, including prototyping and coding yourself as well as communicating your solutions and
• mentoring teams through the implementation.
• Experience in analyzing business and customer needs directly or together with product management and you can translate those into innovative and user-friendly solution architectures and implementations.
• Experience in infrastructure planning, provisioning of own servers and VMs as well as operating services in public or private clouds.
• Familiar with Integration and Deployment pipelines (CI/CD, DevOps) as well as integration and end-to-end testing across multiple technologies.
• Ability to control system and application operations, monitoring and support to ensure operational excellence whilst facing rapid growth of users and handled data.
• Able to manage when required projects, do work-break-down, estimation and resource allocation planning when new initiatives come along and must be prepared and scheduled.
• Familiar with product management techniques, agile methodologies as well as story writing and workshop facilitation.
• Proof of a track record of successful products or projects where you have taken ownership of the Architecture and Design activities as an important contribution to the overall accomplishments.
• Experience in understanding and seeking alignment with business goals, operating across organizational units and technology teams to drive a common vision and harmonized approaches, delivering sustainable, agile and re-
• usable solutions.
• Experience with working with client executives and senior management,communicating entirely in English.
