Laiko Cosmos Trading Ltd, a well – established and leading distributor of well – known Fast Moving Consumer Goods in the Retail and HORECA markets, seeking to recruit the right candidate to fill the position of IT Developer - Officer. The role is based in Nicosia.

I.T DEVELOPER - OFFICER

• Provide helpdesk support to internal clients
• Deal with suppliers for repair and servicing jobs
• Provide project related support to external clients
• Installation and solve daily issues and problems
• Keep records and track of software legislation
• Evaluate requirements per users’ needs
• Extend support to staff for Hardware and Software, ensuring any problems that may arise are resolved
• Identify possible problems in advance and adopt preventive measures
• Identify the problems and find solutions
• Ensure installation of hardware and software necessary at locations/terminals
• Document and share practical information on the Software and Hardware currently being used, in a manner that will benefit the employees
• Maintain operational procedures
• Prepare and update software and hardware inventories
• Determine software and hardware requirements and inform relevant managers
• Computer networking concept

Personal Skills and Qualifications

• University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or System Engineering or related subject
• Planning and organizing skills
• Good Knowledge of: Microsoft SQL 2008-2016, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JAVA SCRIPT, PHP, Python, Linux OS, Microsoft OS, C++, Apache Web Server, SQL Reporting Server.

Remuneration

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.
