On behalf of our client, an EMI payment solution, we are looking to hire a Client Onboarding officer for Nicosia offices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing client reviews and Due Diligence.

• Ensure that KYC/Due diligence information/documentation provided by clients fall within the Company’s requirements.

• Make sure that CRM systems are fully updated and accurate information is passed therein in relation to clients’ data.

• Perform client’s negative database screening through software such as Bridger and resolve/investigate the possible hits.

• Work closely with the Customer Support to make sure that the AML procedures are followed.

• Investigate the individual alerts to determine if there is a potential suspicious transaction involved.

• Assess the transaction in the context of previous transactions and the client’s business/purpose of the account.

• Create and maintain accurate and concise records of all investigations undertaken including details on the rationale for any decisions made.

• Seek to build an understanding of the profile of customers highlighted through the transaction monitoring alert process.

• Identify, resolve, escalate any issues in relation to the onboarding process.

• Perform any other ad-hoc AML/Onboarding related tasks.

Requirements:

• BSc in any related field

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position

• Good knowledge of English language (read, speech and written)

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

• Basic knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

• Pleasant personality

• Happy to work in rotating shifts 08.00-17.00 and 09.00-18.00

• Any comfortable communication in additional languages will be considered an advantage

Additional Skills:

· Experience in a FI/PS/EMI will be considered an advantage

· Willing to attend to several seminars

· Working under pressure

· Strong sense of professionalism and teamwork
