Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Corporate Legal Associate/KYC Specialist to join our expanding Legal team. The position will suit a hard-working ambitious young corporate lawyer who seeks to work on complex multi-jurisdictional deals.

Responsibilities include:

This role must include a general expertise and good understanding of corporate environment and KYC and Due Diligence (DD) processes.

As Corporate Legal Associate/KYC Specialist, you will responsible for the entire KYC and Due Diligence (DD) processes, this includes supporting the finance team with bank account openings and annual audits, supporting the projects team with on-boarding payment processors, handling the registrar, the filing, handling various types of documentation across all of the countries we operate in, coordinating with external counsels on corporate changes, performing the DD process on behalf of SkillOnNet (SON).

As Corporate Legal Associate/KYC Specialist you will work closely with cross-functional teams. You should work smoothly under pressure, with communication that should be equally effective with Finance, Operations and other departments.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in similar positions either at a law firm, compliance teams, banking, back-office/KYC experience.
• Excellent English Language communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A superb quality of work.
• The opportunity to take early responsibility and lead on relevant aspects.
• Regular collaboration with colleagues in different departments.
