Capital Owl Ltd, on behalf of our client are seeking to recruit a high calibre professional for the position of Human Resources Officer for a group of Food & Beverage bars and restaurants, to be based at our client’s offices in Limassol.

Job summary

The successful candidate will handle the full spectrum of Human Resources and payroll operations of the Organization ensuring effective business support.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintains employee records and updates databases internally
  • Preparing new employee files and supporting the on-boarding of new hires
  • Planning employee training, implementing the requirements and keeping the required records
  • Assist in the recruitment process and interviews
  • Review candidates’ applications and conduct telephone interviews (profiling candidates through telephone screening)
  • Arrange interviews, liaise with line managers and candidates, book interview rooms, prepare interview schedules and issue supporting paperwork and documentation
  • Prepare job adverts for each vacancy and ensure these appear on Group website and all other relevant job portals
  • Process and execute the company payroll on a monthly basis including calculation of the overtimes, allowances and other individual payments
  • Responsible for the on-time payment of Social Insurance contributions
  • Generating monthly reports for Finance department or other external parties when needed
  • Respond to employees’ inquiries regarding payroll
  • Administration of employee benefits like medical insurance, etc.
  • Manage the employee sick leaves, maternities, paternities, etc. as per the company policy and assist in the submission of the applications of social insurances benefits
  • Maintain and continuous update the HR Information System records
  • Assist in various projects and initiatives within the HR team

Skills and qualifications:

  • University Degree in Human Resources / Management
  • Previous work experience in HR (and any HR certifications) will be considered an advantage
  • Prior experience in Food and Beverage similar positions will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very good understanding of confidentiality rules and company work ethics
  • Excellent English and Greek language knowledge
