We seek a highly motivated and experienced Head of Legal to join our fast-growing IT company in Cyprus. As Head of Legal, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters and providing strategic legal advice to the management team.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Developing a corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company’s matters
• Overseeing the delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies, and priorities
• Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local and state governmental bodies, legislatures, and the community at large
• Acting as Compliance Manager
• Handling the formation and registration of companies in Cyprus and other jurisdictions
• Coordinate with registered agents overseas for the registration and dissolution of foreign companies
• Deal with the execution of changes in the structure of companies (including but not limited to shareholding, directorship, share capital, and change of name); submission of annual returns and other annual requirements including UBO register filings
• Corporate governance and compliance
• Supporting with legal research & consulting
• Drafting company policies and T&C on websites

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Law, with at least 5 years of experience as a corporate or commercial in-house lawyer
• Strong knowledge of Corporate, Commercial, Contract, IP, Labor, and Tax Law
• Experience in Intellectual Property, Corporate Governance, Compliance, and Data Protection
• Experience supporting the international business on strategic level transactions and issues
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Fluent in English and Greek
• Cyprus Bar Association membership, CIPP/E, and CySEC certifications will be an advantages
