Positon Summary

IT Risk Advisory practice, is among others, a leading service provider to Tax, Banking, Insurance and other large corporate clients in a variety of industries, both locally and internationally. 

As a Software Engineer you will contribute to a broad range of IT Advisory related internal and client engagements in Cyprus and abroad. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop quality applications and solutions for client's or other Service Lines’ needs
• Contribution to software engineering tasks such as Business Requirements Analysis and
• Technical / Functional Specifications
• Contribution to research and development
• Contribution to documentation for the code and the application
• Contribute to the development for specific projects as well as day to day coding and fixing
• Work with teams from other Service Lines (Assurance, Tax, Transactions) within the business
• Think innovatively and out of the box to stay ahead of the curve with new technologies

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or other related fields like Information Security, MIS and Software Engineering
• Excellent programming skills in Python and/or Java is a must
• Strong understanding of python libraries and databases (e.g. MongoDB, SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.)
• Deep understanding of how to write maintainable code and the importance of testing
• Knowledge of Python Web Frameworks (Django, Flask) will be considered as an advantage
• Graduates or candidates with 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge, skills and experience in applying the industry best practices in the fields of Software Engineering (full SDLC)
• Professional certifications will be considered as an advantage
• Fluency in both verbal and written English is required
