CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading provider of Professional Services to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit an IT Support Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for providing end users of the company with ongoing support and assistance with any IT-related issues as well as assisting with the installation and ongoing maintenance of IT hardware and software. An academic background relating to Information Technology is highly desirable and a minimum of 1+ year of proven experience working in a similar role is essential. Fluency in both Greek & English is a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide first level support to end users.
• Assist in the installation of equipment and software.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure components.
• Perform enhancements and upgrades.
• Assist in the implementation of new systems and applications.
• Assist in the implementation and operation of IT security processes and tools.

Key Skills/Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar role is essential.
• Solid knowledge of IT Hardware and Software systems.
• A good overall understanding of IT principles and technical concepts is required.
• A passion for technology with the ability to learn and develop at a fast pace.
• Energetic, positive and team player.
• Self-driven, fast learner and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work well under pressure.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
