CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global industry-leading Information Technology firm with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a PHP Developer to join their growing software development team. The successful applicant will work on a variety of highly-scalable applications with PHP and other technologies as well as participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. You will ideally hold an academic background in Computer Science or another relevant field and possess approximately 2+ years of proven software development experience working with PHP. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work on highly-scalable applications with PHP and other technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
• Analyze product requirements and translating to design specifications.
• Work with exciting technologies (Docker, Microservices, Elasticsearch, Redis, PHP 8+, REST APIs & more).

Key Skills/Experience:

• Approximately 2+ years of software development experience working with PHP.
• Hands on experience with PHP Frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony etc).
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with large scale web projects.
• Knowledge and experience with REST APIs and Web services.
• Experience with Git source control.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/NodeJS is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines will be considered an advantage.
• Docker and Linux experience is a plus.
