VACANCY: Assistant Irrigation Technician

Opportunity:

We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Irrigation Technician for a fulltime employment with Aphrodite Hills Resort Ltd.

Essential Duties:       

• Assist in the daily routine maintenance necessary for a good functioning irrigation system
• Assist in pump and filter maintenance
• Assist in fixing leaks
• Assist in trouble shooting system faults
•  Assist in levelling sprinklers & catch basins
• Assist in edging sprinklers & catch basins  
• Assist with drainage instillation

Experience:    

• Any form of previous experience with irrigation systems, pumping systems or general plumbing works.

Physical Demands:    

• Regularly stands, walks, sits, and uses hands. Occasionally climbs or balances; kneels, crawls or crouches. Regularly lifts to up 25 Kg. Occasionally lifts up to 50 Kg.

Vision Requirements:

• Regularly uses close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. Ability to adjust focus. 

Environment/Noise:

• Work out doors in all weather conditions.
• Works with machinery with loud noise levels and can occasionally experiences vibrations.
• Works in an environment where fertilizers and pesticides are applied

Certificates/Licenses:           

• Valid Driver’s License

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to speak English.
