We’re on a mission in finding the best talent out there and adding an experienced Licensing and Compliance officer to join our team at our offices in Limassol or Nicosia.

Your role at BDSwiss:

• Preparing and submitting applications to regulatory authorities for obtaining and/or expanding licenses, plans, and/or organizational structures.
• Handling and organizing all correspondence with lawyers and partners worldwide.
• Actively communicating with European and offshore regulators as regards the status of the company’s applications, queries relevant to license applications and regulatory obligations.
• Assisting and handling the preparation of applications for obtaining financial licenses, including drafting policies and procedures for the purposes of acquiring local and global licenses in investment firms.
• Carrying out research and sourcing solutions for the Group, relating to financial licensing options
• Engaging with relevant business units to ensure critical and timely review of communications.
• Ensuring that regulatory policies and procedures are documented, implemented, and monitored throughout the Company.
• Maintaining a good understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements and providing advice where needed.
• Keeping abreast and review of new and amended regulations and advising on necessary actions to be taken.
• Preparing regular reports to be addressed to key internal and external stakeholders
• Conducting reviews/audits of departments, key business and other processes and activities to ensure the continued adherence to and effective implementation of policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Performing any other assigned compliance-related tasks.

The Ideal Candidate:

• University Degree in Law, Business, Finance or any related field.
• Previous experience within the licensing field is a prerequisite.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of the regulatory regime for financial markets and investment firms.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Practical approach in understanding and applying regulatory requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English language.
• Able to work on own initiative, independently, prioritize workload and pay attention to details.
• Holder of the Advance Certificate will be considered an advantage.
