CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a CySEC Regulated Investment Firm, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Trading Platform Administrator to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will manage and support an expanding team tasked with monitoring and maintaining the department's trading systems and tools, working closely with other departments to ensure trading systems are fully operational. You will possess approximately 4+ years of proven experience within a similar role, with specific hands-on experience with trading platforms, especially with MT4/MT5. This role requires the successful candidate to work on rotational shift-patterns on a 24/5 basis, with no weekend work required.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team and ensure they upskill as and where required.
  • Monitor and maintain the department's trading systems and tools.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure trading systems are fully operational.
  • Monitor the pricing feed of all instruments and ensure that these are always updated.
  • Responsible for in-depth testing of internal softwares as well as developments related to dealing operations.
  • Analysing platforms’ health and resources, to ensure stability and their expected performance.
  • Onboarding/integration of Liquidity Providers/Institutional clients/White Labels to the company’s ecosystem.
  • Monitoring of the company’s ecosystem and solving technical issues that may arise from time to time between Servers, Bridges/APIs and Liquidity Providers.
  • Managing MT4, MT5 Administrator - Monitoring and adjusting of overall trading instruments settings and parameters.
  • Monitoring/Troubleshooting issues in relation to the reception and transmission of client orders in coordination with the Dealing and other departments.
  • Working closely with the risk management/trading department to design and implement system configuration according to hedging strategy and Liquidity Providers.
  • Cooperating with IT department on all related technical issues to Design and implement failover procedures and automated backups for trading platforms and FIX engines.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Approximately 4+ years of experience within the Financial Services industry or other related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and oral.
  • Experience with trading platforms, especially with MT4/MT5.
  • Experience with any of OZ Hub, XCore, T4B, FXCubic will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge in SQL queries will be considered an advantage.
  • Good understanding of the Forex market.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proactiveness, efficiency and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently.
  • Ability to review and test performance frameworks and provide feedback.
  • High numerical and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work in a regulated environment and observe the guidelines set by the relevant governing body.
  • Ability to adapt to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel).
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 weekly rotated shifts (00:00-08:00, 08:00-16:00,16:00-00:00).
