RESPONSIBILITIES

  • We are looking for a Senior System Administrator to join our IT department in Limassol. You’ll be responsible for managing our server and network infrastructures. Senior System Administrator responsibilities include supervising our Operations team, monitoring system performance, and configuring new software and hardware. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems. Ultimately, you will ensure our software, hardware, servers, and networks run smoothly.
  • Configure internal sys. ems and administrate dedicated servers, devices, and firewalls (web, mail, file): installation, network setup, diagnostics of the network, and hardware failures of servers and network equipment;
  • Setting up, upgrading, monitoring, and maintaining of IT infrastructure of office employees (PCs, laptops, printers);
  • Monitor the performance and help in solving current problems with employees' office servers, software, and hardware;
  • Update technical documentation and supervise the Operations team
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues;
  • Configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network equipment (routers, switches, access points);
  • Working with employees’ requests in the ticket system and ensuring the smooth deployment of new applications;
  • Train new system users and set up their accounts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • English no less than B1 (High level of English - both written and spoken);
  • 8+ years of experience in the IT field;
  • Familiar with networking, firewalls, VPN, and corporate WiFi - must;
  • Experience with Google Workspace, familiar with Google apps (Gsuite);
  • Jira, and Confluence services;
  • Cloud (Google/AWS) experience;
  • Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, SNTP, SMTP, IMAP, ICMP, IPSec, and VoIP protocols, understanding of the basic principles of routing and switching;
  • Windows 2016/2022 Active Directory – must;
  • You should have an experience with installation, maintenance, and management of Multiple Operations Systems – Windows, MACOS, Linux;
  • Possession of basic console utilities for diagnosing problems with the network and equipment;
  • Knowledge of virtualization systems: Hyper-V and VMware- must;
  • Preferred experience in servicing: Terminal Server, FreePBX, and Asterisk;
  • Security and Access control equipment, knowledge of system security techniques;
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks;
  • Experience with JampCloud or other MDM systems;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, service-oriented, good problem-solving and communication skills;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a busy and demanding work environment;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, responsibility, and professionalism;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Local market experience;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Experience in IT companies with a number of people from 60+.
