Since its establishment in 2004, our client has grown from a small startup run by three enthusiasts who produced and supported two products to an international business with over 200 employees and an expanding product range for PC and Mac sold in 150 countries. The company's head office is located in the USA.

Currently expanding, our client is looking for a highly motivated and talented Content Creator to join their awesome team!

As a Marketing Content Creator and Editor, you will work with content on all major Movavi products: Video Editor, Photo Editor, Video Converter, Screen Recorder. Your main task will be to write and rework product articles and other website pages and make clear compelling copy that is commercially effective. The ideal candidate will have experience as a commercial writer and editor; will have a basic understanding of video and photo editing, including the respective terminology; will have excellent writing skills.


Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in maintaining style guidelines for content personality, tone and voice according to Movavi's branding
  • Edit and manage content for the writing team in accordance with our style guide
  • Thorough knowledge of linguistics, grammar, punctuation, style, editing, and design concepts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate and complement marketing strategies
  • As may be needed, assist with production of multi-media content, including videos
  • Brainstorm content ideas, solicit pitches, edits, and publish stories
  • Exhibit flexibility and remain responsive to changes
  • Initiate new practices that benefit the writing team and streamline productivity

Required Skills and Background: 

  • 2+ years of experience in editing digital content
  • Experience with CMS or other content workflow tools
  • Experience using and adhering to style guides
  • Strong proofreading skills, attention to detail, and impeccable grammar
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
