GSE (Ground Support Equipment) Maintenance Assistant - Full Time, Larnaca

Main responsibilities

• In liaison with GSE Manager, responsible for the correct functioning of maintenance and repair work associated with all Swissport equipment and ensuring that the standard of work meets local rules, regulations and international corporate standards.
• Assisting GSE Manager in the day to day management of the workshop
• Guiding/coaching and assisting staff in all issues
• Ensuring the GSE workshop meets the required standards
• Overseeing the quality of the maintenance and repair work
• Engaging in maintenance and repair work, as required 
• Interacting with external providers/suppliers
• With the support of the GSE Manager, ensuring compliance/implementation of Global Fleet Manual as well as system migration to the internal Fleet Management System
• Producing work related reports, per company standards and requirements 
• Performing other related tasks as instructed by GSE manager

Your Profile

• Technical school graduate, minimum of 5 years workshop experience in a supervisory role
• University degree in mechanical engineering or related subject considered an advantage
• Proven technical competencies in heavy type of equipment 
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good command of English/ Greek languages
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, weekends, holidays and evenings
• Willing to travel when necessary for training or to assist other stations with GSE needs
