Medochemie Ltd invites applications from career-oriented professionals for the position of Head of Sales M.E.N.A

This position will be reporting directly to the CEO of the company.

What does the job look like?

Sales

  1. Develops and implements the sales strategy of the region.
  2. Builds up and supports the business plan of the region by volumes, turnover and budget.
  3. Identifies major competitors, potential customers, market trends and developmental opportunities.
  4. Decides on variations in pricing, payments and other conditions.
  5. Represents the Company and maintains a high level of contact with important clients.
  6. Prepares timely information to the Board (Sales report, Stock report, Country report, Sales analysis – primary and secondary sales) or any report needed.
  7. Meets and works with partners to discuss sales targets for the following /succeeding year (5-year forecast), marketing plan, etc

New Business

  1. Searches and identifies potential new business partners, e.g. expansion of geographic area.
  2. Identifies products with potential new partner(s), discuss forecasts, prices, terms of supply, etc.
  3. Builds new relationships with new partners

Marketing

  1. Is responsible for the Region’s general strategy implementation on the market.
  2. Develops and implements marketing plans and projects for new and existing products programs.
  3. Prepares the proposal for the Region’s products forecast.
  4. Is responsible for the execution of the approved marketing budget.

Finance and Accounting

  1. Prepares and submits, the Sales & Marketing budget, on an annual basis, for approval of the Board.
  2. Monitors all the Region’s expenses and maintains all costs within Budgeted limits.
  3. Oversees the preparation of country financial reports required to be submitted to the Board of Directors.
  4. Is responsible for the financial KPIs of the region.

Human Resources

  1. Manages, supervises, coaches and motivates team.

What does it take to do the job?

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 15 year of pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing experience. Academic education in life sciences (medicine, pharmacy, chemistry or other relevant degree) will be considered an important asset.
  • Regional pharma experience in the MENA region is essential.
  • Proven analytical & strategic thinking.
  • Excellent internal and external communicator across multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong project management orientation with the ability to plan, prioritize and manage complex list of projects to completion.
  • Hands-on and can-do mentality, enjoys working in a team, but can also work autonomously and remotely as an individual.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Excellent English both verbal and writing.
  • frequent traveling abroad is required.

Location: Limassol, Cyprus or Cairo, Egypt or Amman, Jordan
