CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies operating in the field of Investment Services, we are seeking to recruit a Front-End Developer to join their team based in Limassol. As a Front-End Developer you will be creating web applications, including single page applications as well as dynamic websites. You will also be in charge of maintaining as well as improving applications. You will be educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field and possess approximately 2+ years of relevant Front-End development experience working with technologies including JavaScript, HTML & CSS.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Translate UI/UX design requirements into actual code to produce visual elements of the application.
• Work as part of a growing team of Front-End developers to develop high quality usability.
• Develop intuitive web applications.
• Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Build reusable code and components for future use.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
• Maintain and improve company products.
• Participate in code review and team meetings.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Approximately 2+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
• Solid foundation of Frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and experience of modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular, Svelte).
• Good knowledge of web architecture (URIs, HTTP, Caching, etc.).
• Keen eye for good UX design, ability to contribute to a design discussion.
• Ability to write well formatted, structured and clean code.
• Experience with Git.
• Knowledge of CSS pre-processors.
• Experience working with UNIX terminal.
• Keen and able to learn new technologies.
• Happy to perform code reviews and have your code reviewed by your peers.
• Familiar with delivery of software using Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and flexibility to change priorities when needed.
• Must have excellent verbal communications skills and documentation skills to maintain workflows and dashboard functionality.
