Job Description
We are looking for an operations-focused developer. A developer who enjoys operations and has some Server admin experience or A Systems Administrator who has some DevOps experience. We are flexible with the exact experience.

As a System / DevOps Engineer you will be a vital part of the Dev Teams to help define, build and drive the infrastructure and processes for the on premise and cloud Deployment in Technology & New Offerings in Hyperio. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining an automatic CI/CD E2E flow for a diverse set of front-ends, microservice-based applications and databases. You will be using and deploying the latest industry standards and you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring and deploying servers.

Activities and Responsibilities

• Manage deployments of mission critical systems
• Configure and deploy servers
• Manage and deploy microservices
• Managing production environments
• Support of Linux OS and various services
• Support and development of monitoring and notifying on solution performance
• Windows Server 2016 as production environment
• SQL Server and database management
• Manage Hyper-V on Windows Server 2016
• Manage Queue-based systems
• Handle Release management and versioning strategy

Qualifications and Skills

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years’ experience as DevOps engineer (plus System administration experience)
• Ability to handle DevOps design, scripting, automation and management tasks
• Experience in building large CI/CD pipelines (Git, Teamcity, CircleCI and others)
• 1+ years’ experience with Docker and Kubernetes (mandatory)
• Experience in public Cloud – AWS or Azure (mandatory)
• Experience with Microservices architecture and concepts
• Experience with Monitoring and diagnostics (DataDog, Nagios, others)
• Experience with Build tools and package managers
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools for automated environment configuration (
• Experience with Octopus, Bitbucket, Confluence, Nexus, ELK Stack
• Scripting experience preferred including knowledge with Bash and PowerShell Scripting
• Experience in Source Code Management Systems and Gitflow
• Experience with large data volumes as well as schema and data migrations
• Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite
• Working Knowledge of test automation (Selenium) and Agile methodologies
• Previous experience building tools to support and improve build and deploy processes in a Linux and Microsoft .NET environment
• Experience with web servers, reverse proxies and load balancers
• Fluent spoken and written command of English is mandatory.
• Must have the right to live and work in Cyprus for Limassol office position.
