CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a global organisation operating in the manufacturing sector, we are seeking to recruit a Native English-Speaking Sales & Retention Executive to join their team in Nicosia. We are representing this expanding International organization that is establishing a Customer Service Centre in their Nicosia office to support their global offices and clientele. The working hours for this position are from Monday - Friday from 10:30am to 7:00pm Cyprus Time. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for contacting potential clients by phone to introduce new products and generate sales
  • Develop new business
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
  • Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries
  • Carry out market research and surveys
  • Participate in sales events
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales 
  • Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with Owners and Managers
  • Attend team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A native level of English is essential for this role 
  • Must possess excellent negotiations skills with the ability to plan and strategize 
  • Must be resilient and tenacious
  • Goal Orientated and adaptable 
  • Must be enthusiastic and communicative 
  • Must have previous experience in a sales orientated role
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets 
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
  • Previous experience selling by phone an advantage
