CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a regulated Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Compliance Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for analyzing the regulatory framework of each jurisdiction where the Group has a regulated entity and informing Management of any new regulatory reporting requirements that come into effect. You will ideally hold an academic background in the legal field and possess previous experience within a similar regulatory reporting role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Analyze the regulatory framework of each jurisdiction where the Group has a regulated entity.
• Analyze the regulatory reporting obligations of each regulated entity.
• Inform the management in case of any new regulatory reporting come into effect; assess the impact of the new reporting on the companies’ operations.
• Prepare the Continuous Reporting Obligation matrix for each regulated entity.
• Obtain the necessary information from the involved departments to prepare the reports.
• Prepare the relevant regulatory reports on a frequent basis.
• Approve the reports by the Head of compliance.
• Submit the reports to the Regulator.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor Degree in Economics or Law.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), as well as computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Ability to work as part of the team.
• Attention to detail and target oriented.
• Proven experience in the field will be considered as an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• CySEC Certification will be considered as an advantage.
• Working permit in Cyprus.
