CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding CySEC Licensed Investment Firm with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join their team. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for gathering requirements from business users, designing and developing data integration processes and data models, building reports and dashboards and actively contributing to the successful implementation of a data-driven culture within the company. You will be educated to degree level in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a similar field and possess a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience within a similar data-focused role. Excellent knowledge of SQL as well as previous experience with SQL tools such as Power BI, SSIS and/or SSAS is a must. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the end users to understand their data analytics needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design and develop ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Design and build data models.
• Design and build data analytics solutions.
• Testing and troubleshooting of various data processes in development and production environments.
• Support ad-hoc reporting requests.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a similar field.
• 2+ years’ experience working in business intelligence, data engineering, data analytics or a similar role.
• 1+ years of experience in building reporting solutions using tools such as PowerBI.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of using Microsoft SQL technologies (SSIS/SSAS/Power BI Premium).
• Working knowledge of writing Stored Procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Any Data Mining and/or Machine Learning knowledge will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience working in the Forex industry will be considered a plus.
