CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a Multinational Group of Companies with diverse business interests which include Maritime, Satellite Communications, Oil & Gas and Healthcare, we are seeking to recruit a Customer Support Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for receiving and handling enquiries from clients via email and phone and coordinating closely with various internal teams, in particular the sales team to ensure order processing and supply chain management. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Business Administration or any other relevant field and possess previous experience within a fast-paced client service position. Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills are essential. 


Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Receive and handle enquires from the customer via various channels.
  • Process these from the enquiry stage through to the invoice stage where applicable, including regular follow-ups and reminders.
  • Coordinate through all of the sales process including but not limited to enquiry, quotation, order receipt & acknowledgement.
  • Request for readiness, despatch, freight tracking, documentation legalisation, invoicing, etc… (where applicable).
  • Creation and control of all manual and electronic filing systems for customer sales cases and all relevant office paperwork.
  • Back-up other colleagues within the same department in case of absence and ensure the smooth flow of operations.
  • Respond to customer and suppliers’ general inquiries as necessary and coordinate with Management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Any higher education will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
  • Previous experience within a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must.
  • Strong administrative and clerical skills are essential.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
