HRus partners (license no 414) On behalf of our client, a well-established Forex company with International presence, we are currently looking for a Head of Compliance to join their expanding team in Limassol.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the group is always up to date with regulatory requirements.
- Be the first point of contact between the company and regulatory bodies.
- Assisting and communicating with all relevant departments of the Group.
- Monitoring and tracking regulatory changes and ensuring that needed changes are executed.
- Preparing relevant reports for the BOD and UBOS.
- Preparing/ assisting the monthly and ad-hoc regulatory obligations of the Company or the Group.
- Training and providing support to the staff in matters of compliance based on the current laws.
- Drafting new and updating existing procedures and policies.
- Providing guidance and support to business units on compliance/regulatory matters.
- Drafting, amending, and reviewing agreements/contracts.
Job Requirements
- CySEC Advanced Certificate is a must.
- University degree in Law, Finance/ Business, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Head of Compliance in an Investment Firm offering trading CFDs/Forex products.
- Experience monitoring and conducting periodic assessments of investment service departments will be considered an advantage.
- Experience with other regulators, i.e. FSA, would be considered as an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem solver, think out of the box attitude.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Good knowledge on Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
