Thanos Hotels & Resorts are looking to recruit a Chief Steward for the Stewarding Department in Annabelle Hotel.

The role:

• The role is to supervise a team of Hygiene Operatives and to safely deliver the required cleaning schedules to the required standard. 

Profile of the ideal candidate:

• At least 1 year experience in Health and Safety/ HACCP.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English Languages.
• A comprehensive understanding of hygiene practices, enabling the development of continuous performance improvement plans covering efficiency of clean, time management.
• The ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate their team by example and training.
• Well-developed written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to organize the adequate man power for the needs of the hotel at any given time.
• Flexibility to cover shift hygiene requirements.
• Ability to communicate and influence others.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Must be a caring personality that shows empathy and understanding
• Commitment to learning & self-development
• Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
• Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding
• Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints
• Due to work permit restrictions, candidates must have the right to work in Cyprus
