As an Institutional Sales Executive at Deriv, you’ll identify opportunities and develop relationships with key institutional investors as Deriv expands its brokerage presence and enters a new growth phase.

In this role, you will gain business-wide exposure by working closely with other departments (Trading, Compliance, IT, Accounting, etc.) to ensure smooth business operations and relationships with business providers. We have more than 2.5 million clients in over 40 countries around the world.

With your ability to forge strong working relationships and generate business, you will champion new ideas in a fast-paced working environment that facilitates empowerment and growth.

What will you be doing?

  • Identify and cultivate institutional leads, prospects, and clients via different channels such as trade fairs, direct contact, or your personal network.

  • Lead new business meetings and close sales to institutional investors and consultants to initiate and follow up on business opportunities.

  • Leverage Deriv’s relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing contact initiatives to expand our institutional footprint.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on product and sales materials to ensure their currency and relevance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services as a manager

  • Demonstrable record of initiating, managing, and monetising relationships with institutional clients or partners

  • Experience with managing a sales team

  • Strong negotiating skills

  • High motivation, tenacity, and determination

  • Intrapreneurial ambition along with a team spirit

  • Strong interest in financial services and capital markets

  • Thriving in change

  • Fluency in spoken and written English
