CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies with diverse business interests including Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Construction & Agricultural Production, we seeking to recruit an IFRS Specialist to join their team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for the accounting and reporting of Group Companies under IFRS. You will therefore hold a minimum of 2+ years with solid exposure to IFRS, either as an Auditor or Accountant and any relevant accounting qualification will be considered an advantage. You will be fluent in Russian and possess a good level of English. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Accounting and reporting for non-resident companies (Cyprus, BVI, Cayman Islands) in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Interaction with external auditors (Big Four).
• Preparation of documents and information upon the request of banks and external auditors.
• Correspondence and communication predominantly in English.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• A minimum 2 years of relevant working experience within the domain of IFRS or/and Audit.
• Fluent Russian is a must, English – advanced.
• Knowledge and practice of implementing accounting policies.
• Knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation will be an advantage.
• Working experience in international audit companies will be an advantage.
• Experienced user of 1C program is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, in particular with Excel.
