This is a great opportunity for an experienced Retail professional to manage and oversee the daily operations of assigned brands of the Company. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and Board of Directors.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the daily operations, ensuring compliance with company and franchise policies and regulations, adhering to brand guidelines
  • Manage the brands’ profit and loss
  • Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues, within agreed formats and timescales
  • Participate in the development of operating goals and objectives for the business, recommending and implementing practices to enhance and improve operations
  • Plan and develop strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the business
  • Implement effective administrative and stock management procedures, minimizing losses and increase sales within the retail stores
  • Collaborate with the Area Managers and Store Management Teams to identify issues underlying the under-performance of sections, making appropriate recommendations to improve sales
  • Manage and control expenditure (including payroll) within agreed budgets, and where required, design and implement procedures to improve performance
  • Collaborate with the Buying Manager to manage the purchasing of merchandise from the franchisors, as well as maintain sales and stock records, perform seasonal forecasting, prepare and present performance reports
  • Plan and implement development opportunities of the business, including the opening of new stores and supporting facilities
  • In cooperation with the HR Manager, oversee and supervise the development of retail employees, taking into account staff costs, productivity, staffing requirements, recruitment activities, training and development, conflict resolution, performance management, as well as general coaching, all in compliance with local employment law
  • Work in conjunction with the Head Office to plan the intake, markdown, phasing, and sales plans of new seasons
  • Support the Marketing Manager with planning and coordinating business functions and marketing activities, including advertising, window displays, merchandising, sales, promotions of inventory, promotional announcements, and coordinate PR activities.


Profile of the ideal candidate

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a rolewith similar responsibilities within the Retail industry, ideally within the Fashion sector
  • Commercially aware, with a good understanding of the principles of the Retail industry
  • Very good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Very good leadership and people-management skills
  • Dynamic, with a customer service mindset
  • Very good knowledge of Greek and English.
