SIGMA BAKERIES LTD is a bakery, confectionery and restaurant business based in Limassol since 1922, seeking to employ an experienced individual on a permanent basis in the Engineer/Technical Department.Duties include:

• Preventive maintenance – ensuring that machines are always well-maintained in top condition to prevent faults from occurring.

• The overseeing of regular inspection, maintenance and repair of machinery in our stores and staff accommodation. This will involve travelling to multiple locations.

• Troubleshooting, reporting and problem-solving.

• Adhering to all safety and performance regulations.

• Keeping accurate records of all work carried out for licencing, reference and reporting purposes.

• Carrying out monthly evaluations of energy consumption efficiency or inefficiency; present solutions or rectify malpractices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• Extensive knowledge gained from experience in a similar post within the Hospitality and/or Retail sector.

• Ability and knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance independently.

• Pro-active, problem-solver with a can-do attitude.

• Knowledge of AUTOCAD software will be a favourable qualification.

Details:

• Working schedule: Monday – Friday, half day Saturday and will occasionally be on-call for emergencies occurring over the weekend (rotation).
