CSP JV (Cyprus Services Provider) an established Joint Venture company working within the British Sovereign Base areas, has a requirement for a M&E Engineer for Dhekelia, Ayios Nikolaos & BRS Nicosia.

SFA (Families’ Houses) M&E Engineer

General Role

The M&E Engineer will be responsible for the safe, reliable and cost effective delivery of the Mechanical & Electrical Engineering operations related to the Response/Reactive Maintenance works, Preventative Planned Maintenance works and Project works on all Services Families Accommodation (SFA’s – Families’ Houses).

Profile

The post is for an engineer with minimum three years’ experience in either contracting or maintenance operations and is a self-motivated team player with proven track record in the delivery of similar operations as described above.

Specific Responsibilities 

• Review and monitor the execution of the Response/Reactive Maintenance work orders and the Preventative Planned Maintenance work orders/tasks in accordance with the provisions of the contract, both time wise and quality wise.
• Design (preparation of drawings & specification related to small scale projects on SFA’s) and subsequent management and supervisor of the execution of the works, ensuring that the target deadlines are met and the works are to standard.
• Update Maximo IMS on the progress of the works. 
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments in close cooperation with the company Health & Safety Officer and ensuring that all H&S requirements are followed by the workforce on site.

• Ability to work within QSHE system environment.
• IT literate on all MS Office programs including Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD would also be advantageous.
• Good command of the English language.

Qualifications

As a minimum, a B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Also member of ETEK.

Knowledge of the provisions and requirements of 18th Edition of IEE Regulations will be considerate as an additional qualification.
