CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Financial Technology company with offices in both London and Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Payments Specialist to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will hold previous experience within the Banking, Payments and/or FinTech space and possess an understanding of Loro & Nostro accounts functionality as well as with SWIFT products (including Alliance 2) and MT messages. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Daily payment processing of clients’ bank transfers through various nostros.
  • Payment issues monitoring.
  • Communication and maintaining relationships with the existing network and payment schemes.
  • Close communication with AML department.
  • Taking care of payment reconciliations.
  • Addressing tasks for payment automatization to the IT department.

 Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Previous professional background in Banking, Payments and/or EMIs.
  • Understanding of Loro/Nostro accounts functionality.
  • Experience with SWIFT products (including Alliance 2) and MT messages is a must.
  • Understanding of the entire payment life cycle (creation/reconciliation/refund).
  • Good knowledge of the payment industry (SEPA, FasterPayments, SWIFT, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset and accuracy of work.
